Job Summary


The Department of Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado seeks a Research Associate to conduct research on manganese treatment. Applicants must have a Ph.D. Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field. Experience in manganese treatment, particle size characterization and guidance development are required. Applicants should have a strong understanding of environmental chemistry, laboratory control, and safety standards, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. The position is for 2-years but may be longer based on availability of funding.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Co-advise graduate students.
  • Assist with the operation and management of laboratory activities related manganese treatment.
  • Travel to field sites, conferences, and workshops as required.

The annual salary associated with this 12% time position is $25,000.

What We Require
