Job Description:
The Enrollment Services Coordinator provides the day-to-day operational support for Syracuse University Project Advance's (SUPA) student records and registration processes, including class assignment, block enrollment, drops, withdrawals, and grade reporting as well as other administrative functions within the business office. As the university's premier concurrent enrollment program, SUPA annually enrolls over 12,000 students at partner high schools. The Enrollment Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the student enrollment process in accordance with Syracuse University and program policies and procedures and advising Project Advance's HS partners, students, and other stakeholders on these policies, including course prerequisites, grade-level restrictions, drop and withdrawal criteria, FERPA, course grades, etc. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented, student-centered environment, and possesses strong interpersonal, time management, and communications skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assign courses for the academic year (and summer) sections.
  • Screen student applications to ensure all eligibility requirements are met, all required documents are received, and applications are complete.
  • Process course applications and create Bio loads.
  • Process drops and withdrawals.
  • Reconcile PeopleSoft and PASS via block enrollment .
  • Monitor grade reporting of all sections and ensure compliance.
  • Provide support to business manager and directors when there are conflicts over student grades or enrollment status.
  • Coordinate archive into OnBase for all registration materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective SUPA students and instructors for registration-related/course enrollment inquiries.
  • Be knowledgeable about Syracuse University Project Advance's registration policy and procedures for communications with parents/guardians, students, and school officials.
  • Consult with Registrar's Office as necessary.
  • Set up classes for eligible Project Advance instructors for Summer Institute graduate credit registration and room locations.
  • Present on Syracuse University Project Advance registration policy and procedures to first-time instructors at the Summer Institute and upon request from school partners or program administrators.
  • Maintain Instructors Advisor Table.
  • Respond to all Net ID inquiries.
  • Coordinate HS Media Specialist/Librarian Access for PASS database.
  • Answer telephone, email, and livechat general inquiries from diverse stakeholders.
  • Advise parents, students, and high school personnel regarding general registration questions and inquiries.
  • Other position related duties as assigned..
