Job Summary:
The University of Colorado, the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) is hiring a retiree. This position is responsible for the oversight of the post-award grant and contract compliance area for the Department of Biomedical Informatics. Working directly with the Research Operation Manager and working 100% remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll Expense transfers (PETs), and journal entries for the DBMI
- Assist the Grant operation team to process monthly payroll funding updates, and/or monthly reconciliation on the payroll allocations for the DBMI faculty and research staff.
- Assist the Grant operation team to monitor and make sure the ePERS are completed in the CU system
- Complete journal entries for tuition remission for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Location:
Remote - this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in Higher Education
- Work experience in Post Award and payroll in a Higher Education setting

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
$45 per hour.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
