Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $70,000.00
Maximum $70,000.00

Job Summary
The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) is responsible for supporting the use of an electronic health record system (EPIC) application modules and the optimization of user engagement. The ESA will provide system maintenance, configuration, testing and training to enhance system design modifications, clinical workflow engagement, and strengthen user acceptance of features and functionality of the EHR software. The ESA will also assist with data management and reporting utilizing Epics reporting tools to support decision-making, quality measures, and clinical research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

1. Proficiency or certification in EPIC Ambulatory products and/or other EPIC products.

2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

3. Must possess strong organizational, and administrative abilities and be able to act effectively as a leader and member of a team.

4. Able to communicate in a professional manner with others, in person, in writing and utilizing a telephone.

4. Able to handle detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.




Required Qualifications
1. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent Healthcare experience required. Licensure, or certifications are considered a bonus.

2. EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of healthcare experience preferably

3. LICENSURE: None Defined

4. HEALTH CLEARANCE: Must submit all required health related documents prior to employment. May be required to maintain annual records for items such as TB clearance.

5. BACKGROUND CHECK: A background check may be initiated that may include criminal, employment, educational, and financial history.
