Job Description:
The Video Producer Associate actively collaborates and engages with the video production team, editors, instructional designers, and graphic designers to create video content for educational online programs.
This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.

Responsibilities:
- Perform as a camera operator/sound mixer/gaffer and grip in studio and on-location.
- Organize and execute pre-production and production processes for assigned courses, coordinate with the rest of the video team, instructional designers, and multimedia artists.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and perform regular maintenance.
- Receive and implement notes regarding the editing of projects based on content and input from the producers, instructional designers, and faculty members.
- Archive and maintain a record of master files, making sure all footage is secured and backed up.
- Ingest, log, sync, and organize media. Post-production project setup, editing, on-lining, archiving video, delivery, and managing digital assets.
- Assemble footage into string outs, rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining professional standards when needed.
- Perform initial color correction passes and preliminary sound sweetening when needed.
- Provide graphics support utilizing Adobe After Effects and Creative Suite when needed.
- Ensure quality control and consistency on final deliverables by utilizing and recommending advanced technologies, workflows, and post-production methodologies when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
