Min T/E Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience ; or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Primary Purpose of Organization Unit:
The Division of Enrollment Management creates access for student achievement through the recruitment, retention, and graduation of our student community. We contribute to the broad mission of UNCP by serving students, our campus, and our community through collaborative, impactful practices affecting the entire student experience, from prospective student to graduate.
Primary Purpose of Position:
The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management. This role is essential in managing various operational tasks, including project management, enrollment trend research and data preparation, event management, budget management, and managing the day-to-day operations within the Enrollment Management Division. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, critical thinking, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic academic environment.
Job Description:
- (20%) Develop, extract, monitor, reports related to enrollment, retention, and financial data using institutional systems like Argos, Banner, TargetX, and CampusESP.
- (20%) Research factors that influence strategic enrollment management, for example - existing policies at other campuses, comparison data across various institutions, degree programs and enrollments through national organizations, student demographics, retention rates, market trends, labor market needs, and financial aid trends.
- (15%) Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives that support the mission of the division such as parent and family engagement; Coordinate institutional use of Ocelot chat bot, direct work cross-divisionally, and ensure information is kept up-to-date and accurate.
- (15%) Manage the day-to-day operations of the University phone system and provide supervision to the Administrative Support Associate that runs the phone system.
- (10%) Assist the Vice Chancellor in launching various projects and initiatives. Support strategic initiatives to enhance recruitment and retention efforts, including preparing presentation slides and conducting data research.
- (10%) Manage divisional budgets, track the annual spend plan, reconcile accounts, and report outstanding balances.
- (5%) Provide high-level administrative assistance to the Vice Chancellor by handling coordination for divisional meetings, institutional committees, and managing confidential records.
- (5%) Contributes to the overall success of the Enrollment Management Division by performing all other duties as assigned.
Management Preference:
Background in data management or basic research, and/or project management, and/or experience in budget management.
Previous experience managing or supervising teams or operations (e.g., call center).
