Part-Time Admissions Clerk

Essential Functions:

Provide exceptional customer service and information to prospective and admitted students.

Serve as the primary phone contact for the admissions team. Provide information to the public and prospective students relevant to programs of study, the admissions process, college policies, etc. Will utilize Banner to provide applicant status and enrollment information to applicants and admitted students. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to voice mail inquiries daily.
Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and correspondence. Visit mail room and student central daily.
Pick up materials from the copy center.
File and retrieve documents as needed.
Assist with mailings and events for the enrollment management division.
Will participate in departmental/division trainings and attend team meetings.
Focuses on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions.
All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must have a High School Diploma, HiSET or G.E.D.
Minimum of two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in an office setting preferred.
Must have demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word and Excel computer applications.
Must be able to collaborate and maintain good working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Preferred: Multi-lingual candidates fluent in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, French Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole.

Additional Information:
Position Status: Part-time Non-Benefited Position

Hours: 18 hours per week

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
